On Saturday there will be a big concert in honor of the Queen in front of Buckingham Palace. It is part of the celebrations for the 96-year-old monarch. Kim Kardashian would like to be there – but was ignored.

She may be the queen of reality TV in the US, but in the UK few seem to care. Especially not the staff at Buckingham Palace. As the British newspaper “Daily Mail” reports, Kim Kardashian wanted to get tickets for the Queen’s anniversary concert this Saturday at short notice – and flashed off. Both palace employees and those responsible for the BBC organizers ignored requests from Kardashian’s agents, the newspaper writes.

The 41-year-old wants to attend the event so badly that she would even accept simple tickets instead of VIP tickets, the Daily Mail quotes an anonymous source as saying. Apparently, not being invited at all is a completely new experience for Kim Kardashian. “Kim is rarely turned down to attend an event so this came as quite a surprise as she doesn’t visit the UK often. Kim and Pete love the royal family and were keen to be a part of this special celebration,” the source said.

The British newspaper “The Sun” also reports that the celebrity couple also tried to get tickets for the “Trooping the Color” ceremony – also without success. “They obviously haven’t realized that ‘Trooping the Color’ is a 260-year-old military parade celebrating the monarch’s birthday. You can’t wave your celebrity badge and grab a seat like you can at Wimbledon or the most exclusive restaurants in the city is possible,” an informant told the newspaper.

Concert for the Queen in front of Buckingham Palace

Kardashian is currently in London with her partner Pete Davidson. Numerous events will take place there until Sunday to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II’s throne. One of the highlights is the concert on Saturday evening in front of Buckingham Palace, to which 22,000 spectators are expected. The show has long been sold out, with a portion of the tickets raffled off and others going to military personnel, volunteers and charities.

The two and a half hour concert will be broadcast live by the BBC. Stars like Elton John, Alicia Keys and Diana Ross perform. If Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson don’t get hold of two tickets, they can watch the event in their London hotel room in front of the TV.
