They are supposed to prevent skin aging and reduce the risk of skin cancer: Many cosmetic products now contain UV filters, including day creams. Is that just clever marketing or are the products actually recommended? The star asked and spoke to two skin experts.

Tanned skin – just a few years ago it was considered desirable and healthy, but awareness has changed in the meantime. With good reason: the “healthy tan” is ultimately a protective mechanism of the skin against too much UV radiation. Tanning is the skin’s attempt to prolong its own protection time, i.e. the time it takes for sunburn to develop. However, the effect is small. And has its price.
