The duel for Kylian Mbappe moved the whole football world. Now PSG and Real Madrid are probably getting in each other’s way again.

The dust after the Kylian Mbappe transfer saga has only just settled when Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are already dueling for the next player. According to information from GOAL and SPOX, PSG wants to prevent a transfer from Aurelien Tchouameni to Spain at the last second and sign the young AS Monaco star himself.

Mbappe himself is said to play an important role. In the course of his last-minute extension in the French capital, the superstar reportedly secured a say in personnel decisions. And Tchouameni – like Ousmane Dembele – is one of the players Mbappe wants to play with at PSG in the future.

Aurelien Tchouameni: Chelsea are also involved

Luis Campos gives the topic additional explosiveness. The Portuguese is very likely to become PSG’s new sporting director but previously helped convince Tchouameni to join Madrid. Now exactly this Campos has to cause a change of mind for the 22-year-old.

But not only PSG and Real are courting Tchouameni, Chelsea have also kept an eye on the central midfielder. For the time being, the Blues are still unable to act on transfers, but once the club’s sale is officially finalised, Chelsea are looking to get started in the transfer market. Tchouameni could stand for a generational change in midfield, the contracts of both N’golo Kante (31) and Jorginho (30) expire in 2023. Chelsea have already scouted Tchouameni intensively.
