Billie Eilish will perform in an intimate concert on June 1st – and all fans can join via free livestream.

In 2019, Billie Eilish (20) provided a very special moment on stage at the Glastonbury Festival. In a short speech, she asked the excited, screaming, filming crowd of fans not to forget to savor the moment to the full. “You know what I mean?” said Eilish, sitting on the stage. “Be here because this is the only moment we have right now and it’s like this: we’ll never be right here again, this second, this day, this age, never again.”

If she had known then how right she would be, especially with regard to the next two years of the pandemic! Not only music fans, but also the artist herself had to wait that long before she could finally start her world tour, which was already scheduled for 2020. The exceptional talent is now making three appointments in Germany on June 19, 21 and 30 – and thanks to Telekom, also unscheduled for a very special evening.

Special acoustic show in front of only 2,000 people

Even before the first German concert of the “Happier Than Ever” tour, the award-winning artist and her brother and producer Finneas (24) will be giving their first concert in Germany since the small pandemic eternity on June 1, 2022 at the Telekom Forum in Bonn. This concert will not only be something special in terms of time: While Billie usually plays in front of well over ten thousand fans at her shows in arenas, there are a maximum of 2,000 here. The music also adapts to these circumstances: According to the announcement, Eilish and Finneas will play a special acoustic show.

Tickets for the intimate concert could not be bought, but only for Telekom customers and a few winners. The good news: The concert on June 1st from 8 p.m. will be free of charge for those without a ticket at MagentaMusik and on the station

“Something very special for me”

Eilish has been touring the world’s stadiums and arenas from early February through late September. The young singer has her two albums “When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?” and “Happier Than Ever”. And in the ass after two years of stage abstinence a lot of bumblebees. “Being on stage is something very special for me. To get back in touch with my fans in Europe after such a long time is just great,” Eilish is quoted as saying in a press release. “The relationship with my fans is very important to me. I think about the personal moments I have with them, when I can talk to them, see them, hug them and be close to them. It’s something that means a lot to me “, she also explains in the Electronic Beats podcast.

And this extraordinary concert is sure to be something very special for both the artist and the fans. Billie Eilish is one of “the greatest talents of our generation,” emphasizes Telekom brand boss Ulrich Klenke, who wants to use the evening to inspire young people to “take a peaceful and optimistic look at the future.” And of course: living in the moment.
