Britney Spears’ ex-husband, 40, Jason Alexander, 40, has apparently been arrested at the singer’s wedding. He is said to have gained access to the Southern California venue as the final preparations were being made. According to media reports, the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office said police officers responded to a trespassing Thursday afternoon (June 9). Britney Spears’ first husband was reportedly arrested at the scene. In another district, an arrest warrant is said to have been issued against him.
Before his arrest, Alexander reportedly shared a live video on his Instagram account. Apparently it could be seen how he approached the security check in front of the wedding location. As he walked through a decorated house and garden, he reportedly repeated that Spears invited him.
“I’m here to crash the wedding”
“She’s my first wife, my only wife,” Alexander, who was briefly married to Spears in 2004, reportedly said. The two have known each other since childhood. Their marriage was dissolved after just 55 hours. “I’m her first husband,” he explained in the video. “I’m here to crash the wedding.”
Variety reported that police were still investigating exactly what happened. And whether there are other allegations against Alexander. Britney Spears’ lawyer has already announced legal action. “Jason Alexander was handcuffed and taken into custody,” Mathew Rosengart told Page Six. “Thank you to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office for their quick response and job well done.” He added that he is working closely with law enforcement to ensure Alexander is held accountable to the fullest extent of the law.

Britney Spears and her fiancé Sam Asghari (28) got married on Thursday. The couple met on the set of a music video in 2016. They announced their engagement last September, just before Spears won a legal battle with her family and was released from 13-year guardianship in November. After Jason Alexander, Spears was married to Kevin Federline, 44, from 2004 to 2007, with whom she had two sons, Sean, 16, and Jayden, 15.
