Britney Spears’ first husband was arrested shortly before their wedding. He is said to have been armed with a knife.
Before Britney Spears (40) could celebrate her dream wedding with Sam Asghari (28) on Thursday evening, a police operation caused a stir. Among other things, according to “People”, her ex-husband Jason Alexander (40) had gained access to the singer’s property. He is said to have been armed with a knife, as “TMZ” now reports, citing police sources.
A document that is said to be available to the US celebrity portal also shows that Alexander has trespassed several times in the past. He was told several times that he was not welcome. Accordingly, an emergency protection order has now been issued that he is not allowed to come closer than around 90 meters to Spears, Asghari and the property.
Jason Alexander ‘Hopefully Convicted’
Spears’ lawyer Mathew Rosengart thanked “TMZ” for the quick intervention of the police officers. He wants to make sure that Alexander is prosecuted and “hopefully convicted”. The security breach was scandalous, but luckily Britney is safe and was a beautiful and happy bride.
It is Spears’ third marriage: in 2004 she was married to her childhood friend Alexander for 55 hours and from 2004 to 2007 to Kevin Federline (44), with whom she has her sons Sean Preston (16) and Jayden James (15).
