Britt Hagedorn’s TV comeback on “Frühstücksfernsehen am Sonntag” is imminent. The moderator is “in the mood for work” again.

Britt Hagedorn (50) will be making her TV comeback on “Frühstücksfernsehen” on Sat.1 next Sunday (May 29). About nine years after her own show “Britt – Der Talk um eins” ended, she returns to her old employer. During the long break, she “consciously withdrew”, as Hagedorn now tells the “Bild” newspaper. “I was at a point where I was just through. Besides, it was more important to me to be there for my children.” Her daughter (born in 2007) and her son (born in 2011) are now “more independent” and the moderator “is in the mood for work again”.

For her new job, she commutes from Mallorca to Germany

The following applies to her TV comeback: get up early. “If the alarm goes off at 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, it will definitely hurt,” says Hagedorn. “But that’s how it is for a lot of other people, too.” Her motivation: “I haven’t been burning for a job for a long time.” The 50-year-old also takes on a lot for this: because she commutes from her home in Mallorca to Germany. That is “completely normal” for Hagedorn: “I’ve never had a job on my doorstep.”

Britt Hagedorn celebrated her 50th birthday in January. She thinks it is “deeply exciting to leave your comfort zone at the age of 50”. With every new challenge, she stays “younger in the head,” she says.

As early as 2003, Hagedorn jumped in on “Sat.1 breakfast television”.

Britt Hagedorn already stood in for four months on “Sat.1-Frühstücksfernsehen” in 2003 as a parental leave substitute, on “Weck up” she gained further morning show experience. The moderator became known to most viewers with her daily talk show “Britt – Der Talk um eins”, which ran on the station from 2001 to 2013.

Between 2010 and 2012, Hagedorn also moderated the Sat.1 game show “Mein Mann kann” and from 2017 to 2018 the advice format “Totally healthy!”. On May 29, the presenter can now be seen in her new job for the first time: “Frühstücksfernsehen am Sonntag” runs from 9 a.m. on Sat.1 and on Joyn.
