Bruce Springsteen has announced a big tour. “The Boss” will also come to Germany in 2023 for three concerts.

Bruce Springsteen (72) and his E Street Band are going on a big tour in 2023. The rock musician announced this on his website, among other things. First, the 72-year-old will be giving concerts in the US before also playing shows in Europe in April. These take him to Spain, Ireland, France, Italy, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Austria, the Netherlands, Switzerland – and Germany.

Bruce Springsteen is giving a total of three concerts in Germany: on June 21, 2023 in Düsseldorf in the Merkur Spiel-Arena, on July 15 in Hamburg in the Volksparkstadion and on July 23 in the Olympic Stadium in Munich.

Bruce Springsteen is looking forward to the tour

“After six years, I look forward to seeing our amazing and loyal fans again next year,” Springsteen said in a statement. “And I look forward to once again sharing the stage with the legendary E Street Band. See you out there next year – and beyond.”

The announced concerts are the first live shows by Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band since the international “The River” tour in 2016 and 2017. The last joint appearance took place as part of the US comedy show “Saturday Night Live” in December 2020 instead.
