Borussia Dortmund apparently wants to step up their game in attack and has probably targeted Sofiane Diop from AS Monaco.

Borussia Dortmund appear to have found AS Monaco’s Sofiane Diop in a bid to strengthen their attacking line-up.

As reported by L’Equipe, the black and yellow are monitoring the situation of the 21-year-old, since Diop apparently wants to leave the Monegasque.

Sofiane Diop: In addition to BVB, Nice and Newcastle are probably there

Under Monaco coach Philippe Clement, Diop was no longer able to play consistently. Therefore, despite a contract until 2026, the attacker is said to be open to a change. In addition to Dortmund, who introduced Edin Terzic as the new head coach on Monday, OGC Nice and Newcastle United also have the young Frenchman on their list.

Under Niko Kovac, who was announced as the new coach of VfL Wolfsburg on Tuesday morning, Diop got along much better this season before Clements took over. In Ligue 1, he scored five goals and set up six more in 30 games.
