Borussia Dortmund has apparently found a successor for Marwin Hitz. Alexander Meyer probably comes from Jahn Regensburg to the black and yellow.

Alexander Meyer from Jahn Regensburg should probably become the new number two in the Borussia Dortmund case. As reported by Sky, the 31-year-old is already in Dortmund to sign his contract with the black and yellow.

With the departure of Marwin Hitz, who will leave BVB for an unknown destination, Dortmund were looking for a new back-up for regular goalkeeper Gregor Kobel. Meyer, whose contract with Regensburg expires, is now to fill this role.

BVB: Alexander Meyer would be the fourth new signing

The keeper would be BVB’s fourth summer signing after Niklas Süle, Nico Schlotterbeck and Karim Adeyemi.

Meyer completed 32 games for the Regensburg team in all competitions this season.
