Cameron Diaz is enjoying late motherhood to the fullest. She wants to be 110 years old for her daughter.

Cameron Diaz (49) loves her role as a late mother. On “Goop” she told her colleague and longtime friend Gwyneth Paltrow (49) that her attitude towards aging has changed.

“The whole concept of aging has changed completely, even in the last 10 years,” Diaz said. “It’s opened up completely. I’m thrilled. I have 50 or 60 years to live – I want to live to be 110 since I had a young kid.”

“I want to be with her in her 40s”

Diaz has two-year-old daughter Raddix with her husband Benji Madden (43). And a very specific goal: “I think there’s that wonderful moment in your forties where you appreciate who your parents are and I want to have that moment with her too – to be with her in her forties.”

Diaz also believed her genes will help her with that. According to the actress, her family is made of “solid wood”. “My grandmother was 72 running through the hot San Fernando Valley sun, lugging around big sacks of rabbit feed and chicken feed. I think I got something out of it.”

The oldest in the mothers’ group

The fact that she is “the oldest mother in my group of friends with children” is not a problem for Diaz – she gets a lot of support. “I’m lucky to be my age, lucky to have these girlfriends, lucky to have my daughter, lucky to have all the support to raise her,” she concluded.
