Luna Schweiger is known above all at the side of her actor father Till Schweiger or on horseback. But the celebrity daughter also has other interests: she is thinking about getting into politics.
This weekend Luna Schweiger was also found at the show jumping and dressage derby in the typical Hamburg wind and rain. The 25-year-old competed in the Spooks Amateur Trophy Tour. But as a full-time job, Schweiger can imagine a completely different career. One of her interests is politics and she could even imagine founding a party herself.
In an interview with “Bild am Sonntag”, Schweiger expressed her political interest. Although she could also imagine a job in equestrian sport, her training is more aimed at a political career. The actor’s eldest daughter has a Bachelor of Science, which she completed at the private business school ESCP Business School Europe in Paris, Turin and Berlin. In the future, she would like to do a master’s degree in political science.
With her political interest, education policy is particularly close to her heart, she says: “Above all, we have to step on the gas now when it comes to the training of young people. Whether it’s about school qualifications or studies. Germany in particular should be on a lot be in a better position. I find it almost scandalous what is happening here in the schools.”

The time of the pandemic and the home schooling moments also showed Schweiger that there is still a lot of catching up to do in this sector: “Especially in Corona times you noticed that. All children and students should learn online, but had neither computers nor a fast internet connection. It’s actually a scandal. The education of our country should be the be-all and end-all.” So far, however, she has not been able to get enthusiastic about any major party in Germany and could well imagine founding a party herself.
Privately, however, she remains rather sporty, so the celebrity daughter confirmed her relationship with Prince Frédéric von Anhalt to “Bild am Sonntag”. Kevin von Anhalt has been Luna Schweiger’s partner for six months and plays in the fifth division at Türkspor Augsburg.
