The alleged perpetrator was arrested two days after the fatal shooting. A verdict has now been reached more than three years after the murder.

More than three years after the violent death of US rapper Nipsey Hussle, a 32-year-old man has been found guilty of murder in Los Angeles. After a trial lasting several weeks, the jury returned a guilty verdict on Wednesday.

The perpetrator acted with intent, US media reported. He now faces life imprisonment. The sentence will be announced at a later date.

Hussle (“Victory Lap”) was shot dead in a Los Angeles parking lot in March 2019 at the age of 33. The shots were fired outside a clothing store that Hussle co-owned. Two other men were injured. The suspect, who fled the scene, was arrested two days later in the Los Angeles area.
