The number of charging stations in German parking garages is quite manageable – completely different in Stockholm: Here, an entire parking garage is converted into a free charging station for e-cars. The “largest single project for electric cars in Europe” should be a role model for Germany.

“It’s really a step further than you know it in Germany or anywhere else in Europe,” says Peter Görtzen, Director Wholesale for the European region at Ctek compared to Stern. In cooperation with the mobility company Stockholm Parke, the Swedish manufacturer of charging technology has installed 800 charging stations in a multi-storey car park in the urban area of Hagastaden. This is an underground car park on three floors, which was opened at the end of May after an eight-year construction phase.
