In a new thriller, Emily Blunt is set to play a single mother who gets caught up in illegal activities in search of a better life. Chris Evans will also play.

Superhero actor Chris Evans (41, “Avengers: Endgame”) wants to play alongside Emily Blunt (39, “A Quiet Place”) in the planned Netflix thriller “Pain Hustlers”.

Evans is in the final negotiations with the streaming service, the cinema portal “Deadline.com” reported on Tuesday. Director is the Briton David Yates, who has already brought several Harry Potter films and most recently “Fantastic Beasts: Dumbledore’s Secrets” to the screen. According to the report, filming is scheduled to start in August.

The film revolves around a woman (Blunt) with no school qualifications who wants to create a better life for herself and her daughter. She takes a job at a small pharmaceutical company and gets the company going. However, she soon becomes entangled in criminal business and endangers herself. Nothing was initially known about the role of Evans.
