US actor Ray Liotta has died in the Dominican Republic at the age of 67. According to media reports, the “Goodfellas” star was on the holiday island for filming.

The US actor Ray Liotta, known primarily for gangster roles, is dead. According to his spokeswoman, the “Goodfellas” star died “completely surprisingly” in his sleep. Liotta was 67 years old. At the request of the German Press Agency, spokeswoman Jennifer Allen said he was in the Dominican Republic for filming.

One of his most famous films is the mafia epic “Goodfellas” (1990) by director Martin Scorsese, in which Liotta played a gangster alongside Robert De Niro.
