In the Jan. 6 hearings, it becomes clear that Donald Trump knew exactly what was going to happen when the Capitol was stormed. Even more, he himself would have preferred to accompany his followers. The big question is: who knew all about it?
At some point on January 6, 2021, President Trump completely freaked out – as often happens. He grabbed his Secret Service bodyguard on the steering wheel of the presidential limousine and cursed, “I’m the fucking president. Take me to the Capitol.”
The bodyguard fought back and told him that he couldn’t go to the Capitol for security reasons. Then Donald Trump got to him. He scolded. He cursed. He was beside himself.
He was acting like a little kid who couldn’t get his way.
His will: He wanted to remain president. Under all circumstances.
