Henrikh Mkhitaryan will probably leave AS Roma after two years. The Armenian has been linked with a move to Inter Milan.

After almost two years at AS Roma, Henrikh Mkhitaryan will probably say goodbye to the eternal city. As several Italian media reports unanimously, the 33-year-old Armenian will not accept the contract offer from the Roma. His current working paper expires at the end of June.

But the former Borussia Dortmund professional remains loyal to the Italian league. A deal with Inter Milan is reportedly imminent.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan: Conference League title to wrap it up

Mkhitaryan moved to Rome from Arsenal FC in September 2020 and has since made 117 competitive appearances for the Gialorossi, scoring 29 goals and providing 28 assists.

His last appearance for the capitals around coach Jose Mourinho was therefore probably the final of the Conference League in Tirana at the end of May. However, Mkhitaryan had to be replaced early on in Roma’s win against Feyenoord Rotterdam due to injury.
