From July, Jan Böhmermann will be back behind the stove in “Böhmi brutzelt”. Well-known guests from the media, science and culture are expected.
From July 2nd, ZDFneo will show new episodes of the cooking show “Böhmi brutzelt” with moderator and satirist Jan Böhmermann (41). The second season of the show comprises a total of six episodes and always runs on Saturdays at 7:45 p.m. (ZDF media library, Friday 10 a.m.). This is reported by the online magazine “DWDL”.
Broadcast started last year
In every episode, Jan Böhmermann meets a celebrity from the fields of culture, science or journalism. “I’ll cook what I can cook. That’s not much, because fortunately I’m not a professional, I prefer to approach cooking from the practical side,” revealed the 41-year-old to ZDF before the start of the first season.
The focus of the cooking show is on conversations
Everyone cooks their own soup: the dishes that the participants choose themselves are only revealed at the beginning of the episode. The special focus is anyway on the conversations and not on what ends up on the plate. The broadcaster does not yet know who the amateur chef will be at the stove with in the upcoming episodes.
Böhmermann is known from the “ZDF Magazin Royale”, in which he treats social and political issues with satire and irony. The satire show will go on summer break at the end of May. He also moderates the successful podcast “Fest
