Lutz Storm needs just five minutes to guide you through 7000 years of geological history. The ranger in the Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft National Park is on the west beach in the north of Darß, where the path through the dunes ends. “Now let’s do a bit of brain teasing,” he says, picking up a wooden stick lying in the sand. Then he begins his rapid tour through the millennia.
