Keanu Reeves (57) and his girlfriend Alexandra Grant (49) rarely appear together in public appearances. The couple made an exception over the weekend. The actor and artist attended the MOCA Gala together at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles. Grant, who works as a painter, draftsman and sculptor, has exhibited at the museum.
The couple were in love on the red carpet and posed beaming for the photographers. Grant wore a fitted, red dress with a sophisticated neckline and paired it with flat shoes. The actor looked elegant in a simple three-breasted suit with a tie.
A couple for a long time – even longer friends
Reeves and Grant have officially been a couple since November 2019. They went public with their relationship on the red carpet at the LACMA Art Film Gala. But they were probably a couple before that. Actress Jennifer Tilly (63) reported in early 2020 that her good friend Grant had told her about her relationship with the “Matrix” star a year and a half earlier.
Reeves and Grant have been friends and creative partners even longer. The artist designed the illustrations for Reeve’s books, for example “Ode to Happiness” from 2011 or “Shadow” (2016).
