Actor and musician Kris Wu has apparently been found guilty of raping a woman. There is a risk of a long prison sentence.
According to a report by “Variety”, Chinese-Canadian pop star Kris Wu (31) has been sentenced to prison for raping a beauty influencer. This emerged from a court case in Beijing that took place behind closed doors to protect the victim. Accordingly, it is considered highly likely that Wu will be sentenced to between three and ten years in prison. However, the exact sentence has yet to be announced.
Wu was publicly accused of rape by the influencer via her social media channel in July last year. Accordingly, the star put her under the influence of alcohol and sexually abused her at the age of 17. The woman also stated that she knew of other victims. Less than a month after the allegations, the musician was arrested by the Chinese police.

In addition to his work as a musician, Wu also celebrated a successful career as a model and actor before the allegations.
