Bad news for Matthias Reim’s fans: The hit star has to cancel further concerts in June due to illness.

Concern for Matthias Reim (64): Just a few days ago, three June concerts by the singer in Wolfhagen (June 8th), Nuremberg (June 9th) and Gera (June 10th) were canceled due to an “acute illness”. It is now clear that the hit star will be canceled for four more dates in June. The performances in Mannheim (June 13), Cologne (June 14) and Neunkirchen (June 15) are affected, as the organizer Semmel Concerts announced on Instagram.

Reim’s concert at “Die Schlagernacht des Jahres” in the Waldbühne Berlin on June 11th will therefore not take place. The singer was “unfortunately still ill,” says the post. The performances were canceled “on the advice of his doctors”. Further details about his health are not yet known.

Alternative dates for August and December

Nevertheless, fans don’t have to do without their idol this year. Semmel Concerts has already announced alternative dates for the canceled gigs. At the beginning and end of August, Reim comes to Wolfhagen (08/08), Gera (08/26) and Nuremberg (08/31). In mid-December we will then go to Mannheim (December 9th), Neunkirchen (December 10th) and Cologne (December 11th). “Tickets that have already been purchased remain valid for these alternative dates,” emphasizes the organizer in conclusion.
