The German national team was not able to convince in the third appearance in the Nations League. Little went together against Hungary in Budapest, especially in the second half. In the end it was a meager 1:1.
The German national team missed their first victory in the Nations League. Against the supposedly lightest opponent in group 3 of the A-League it was only enough for a 1:1 draw again. The goals came early: The Gladbacher Hofmann equalized the 1-0 through Nagy in the 6th minute just three minutes later.
In the second game of the German Nations League group, England and Italy drew 0-0 in London. After that, Italy leads the group with five points, followed by Hungary (4), Germany (3) and currently bottom of the table England (2).
