Olaf Scholz appeared on Tuesday for the gala dinner as part of the NATO summit and met King Felipe and his Letizia there.

The G7 summit at Schloss Elmau in Bavaria recently came to an end, when Chancellor Olaf Scholz (64) went on to Spain. At the NATO summit in Madrid, the SPD politician was greeted by King Felipe VI on Tuesday. (54) and Queen Letizia of Spain (49) were warmly welcomed in the Royal Palace, where the Spanish royals invited to the big gala dinner.

At the meeting, Scholz appeared in a plain black suit. Underneath he wore a white shirt and a midnight blue tie with white dots. King Felipe also kept it classically chic with a suit and blue tie. Queen Letizia threw herself into a black midi dress with a tie at the waist. She wore black pumps, silver drop earrings and a silver bracelet.

All three beamed at the special meeting at the Spanish Royal Palace and shook hands. Also present at the gala dinner were US President Joe Biden (79), British Prime Minister Boris Johnson (58), French President Emmanuel Macron (44), Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan (68) and EU Commission President Ursula von of Leyen (63).
