Pompeo spoke on U.S.-Russian cooperation

U.S. Secretary of state Mike Pompeo named two areas in which cooperation is possible between Russia and the United States. According to Pompeo, the two countries can help each other in combating the pandemic coronavirus COVID-19 and terrorism.

In an interview with the Washington Examiner Secretary of state Pompeo reminded that President Donald trump after a conversation with Russian leader Vladimir Putin decided to send in the RF tests on the virus and the ventilator.

Pompeo Also praised relations between Russia and the US through special services, RIA Novosti reported.

“They saved American lives, by providing us with information. We helped them prevent the terrorist attack, which was planned in Saint-Petersburg,” said Pompeo.

In conclusion, Pompeo said that “cooperating with the Russians on these issues,” Americans can “clarify expectations”.
