Lilibet, Harry and Meghan’s daughter, recently celebrated her first birthday. The cake was inspired by her parents’ wedding.

Lilibet, the little daughter of Prince Harry (37) and Duchess Meghan (40), celebrated her first birthday on June 4th. The London bakery “Violet Cakes” has now published photos of the pink birthday cake. Pictures of the floral creation can be seen on Instagram: The two-tiered cake was decorated with several flowers with the words “Lilibet” emblazoned on them. “It was a great pleasure to bake this special cake for Lilibet’s birthday last week. We wish her a happy new year!”, reads one of the photos.

The special: The cake was inspired by the wedding of Harry and Meghan. Another post read: “The inside was the Amalfi Lemon and Elderflower Cake I created for the Duke and Duchess’ wedding in 2018, but this time we’ve made it special with a strawberry buttercream covered for Lilibet.”

Garden party for Lilibet’s birthday

Harry and Meghan are said to have thrown a garden party for their daughter’s birthday. The two traveled to Great Britain last weekend with their children Lilibet and Archie (3) for the platinum throne jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II (96). According to “The Sun”, the celebrations were said to be in a small circle with several royal children in Frogmore Cottage.

Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan got married in May 2018. A year later their son Archie was born. Daughter Lilibet was born in June 2021. Since retiring as senior members of the royal family in 2020, they have resided in Montecito, California.
