Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan hire Michael Jackson’s ex-bodyguard

Harry and Meghan are said to have a new bodyguard. Alberto Alvarez has worked for Michael Jackson in the past.

Prince Harry (37) and Duchess Meghan (40) are said to have a new member in their security team. According to the British “Daily Mail”, Prince Harry was recently spotted with Alberto Alvarez on a bike tour in his adopted home of California. He has many years of experience as a bodyguard and has already protected a music icon.

Alvarez was at his side until Michael Jackson’s (1958-2009) death in 2009. After the collapse of the King of Pop, he called the emergency doctor and later testified in the trial of Conrad Murray (69). Jackson’s personal physician was sentenced to four years in prison for involuntary manslaughter. He had given the musician a fatal overdose of the anesthetic propofol.

    He also protected One Direction

“Alberto has worked with the biggest celebrities so he knows every trick to keep them out of harm’s way,” a Sun insider told The Sun of Alvarez’s new job. “He’s discreet and has been extremely loyal to Michael. He and Harry seem like a good duo and Harry hopes he’s the man to take care of him and his family.” The British boy band One Direction also hired Jackson’s former bodyguard.

Harry and Meghan will soon travel to England for the platinum throne jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II (96). The couple, who are traveling with their two children Archie, 3, and Lilibet, who celebrates her first birthday on June 4, are expected to perform alongside the Royal Family on June 3.
