Princess Eugenie and husband Jack Brooksbank have appeared publicly with their little son August for the first time for the throne anniversary. Like his grandma Fergie and his aunt Beatrice, the little one has red hair.

Royal debut: Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, have made their first public appearance with their son August. The family attended Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee Pageant last Sunday and took a seat in the grandstand. Photos show August in a light blue wool sweater with a Union Jack motif, the national flag of the United Kingdom. He took turns sitting on his mother’s and father’s laps and followed the festivities closely.

Princess Eugenie posted several photos and videos of the pageant on Instagram. On it you can see August waving on Jack Brooksbank’s lap while listening to Ed Sheeran’s live performance and the song “Perfect”. “The Platinum Jubilee Pageant was just amazing,” Eugenie wrote. “To everyone who took part, who organized it, who made it perfect for us spectators, THANK YOU. You all made us so proud.”

Princess Eugenie thanks her grandmother Queen Elizabeth II.

Eugenie had already sent personal lines to her grandmother for photos of the festive service on Friday: “We’re celebrating 70 years … I couldn’t be prouder! Thank you, Your Majesty, for 70 years of dedication and selflessness. We love you!”

So far, Eugenie has mostly been careful not to show her son’s face on Instagram. The little one was born on February 9, 2021 and is the Queen’s ninth great-grandson. The princess and London businessman Jack Brooksbank have been married since 2018.
