Putin proposed a toast for veterans, unity and victory

Russian President Vladimir Putin gave a reception for heads of state who arrived in Moscow on a military parade in honor of the 75th anniversary of Victory in the great Patriotic war. At the reception, the Russian leader raised a toast to the veterans and the unity of the countries as well as for winning in the past and in the future.

Putin reminded about the importance of the feat of the brave soldiers and the selfless home front workers, which is an integral part of the history of Russia and other countries.

Addressing the gathering, the Russian President stressed that the main support to overcome challenges at all times were and remain the “all-conquering power of cohesion, of friendship and trust between our countries”.

“Today it seems primarily the issue of global security, terrorism, epidemic, and most people here leaders know how we in the context of their associations in meeting those objectives and how efficiently and timely we do it” — quoted Putin TASS.

the President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic, who came to Moscow for the Victory parade, along with leaders of other countries, has posted on his page in Instagram gratitude to the President of Russia for the hospitality. So he signed a photo where Putin and Vucic shake hands.
