In mid-May, Rihanna and Asap Rocky are said to have become parents of a little son. However, how the rapper prepared for the most important role of his life is rather unusual.
Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po have helped popular rapper Asap Rocky adjust to his new role as the father of a young child. He and his girlfriend Rihanna are said to have welcomed a son on May 13, 2022, and he already has firm values and points of view that the musician wants to instill in his child. The 1990s children’s series Teletubbies introduced him to some of these.
While Rihanna was carrying their child, Asap Rocky was preparing for impending fatherhood with children’s series. “I really like watching cartoons — I’ve seen Teletubbies, Blue’s Clues, Yo Gabba Gabba, Peppa Pig and Baby Shark,” the rapper revealed in an interview with Dazed magazine. The Teletubbies series in particular is said to have helped him in particular, because for him it contained a deeper message: “I will always remind my children to never lose their imagination, even as adults, no matter what.”
Diversity and variety are important to Asap Rocky when raising children
Values like tolerance and understanding are particularly important to Asap Rocky: “I hope to raise open-minded children, not people who discriminate against others. And I’m not trying to be the saint, but you have to be realistic and authentic. I just want cool kids with cool parents.” Of the influence he and Rihanna already have, the rapper said, “It’s nice that we’re even able to convey things like diversity and diversity. Those values are important and we live them in our house.”
So far, the couple has not publicly commented on the birth. But a couple of relationship insiders revealed the rapper in the interview: “We naturally look good together, we don’t have to put a lot of effort into it before we leave the house, it just happens.
