The Toten Hosen set a record: they are now the band with the most number one albums.

Great success for Die Toten Hosen: the band around frontman Campino (59) broke a record. The rockers are now officially the band with the most number one albums in the German charts. Their anniversary album “Alles aus Liebe: 40 Jahre Die Toten Hosen” has topped the Official German Album Charts, determined by GfK Entertainment. This is their twelfth number one album. Die Toten Hosen trump The Beatles, Depeche Mode, Rammstein, Die Ärzte and Böhse Onkelz, all of whom can only boast eleven number one records.

Rammstein follow behind Toten Hosen

In the Official German Charts, Rammstein’s “Zeit” is right behind the Toten Hosen. The rappers LX (35) and Maxwell (29) of the 187 Strassenbande follow in third and fourth place with their albums “Wazabi” and “Kein Plan”. Harry Styles (28) came in fifth with his long player “Harry’s House”.

The British star has also made the top five on the singles chart, with Styles’ hit “As It Was” at number four. Luciano (28) continues to lead the singles charts with his song “Beautiful Girl”. This puts the Berlin rapper in first place for the fifth week. Newcomer Domiziana jumped from eighth to second place with her single “Ohne Benzin”. Ion Miles, SiraOne and BHZ follow in third and fifth place with “Powerade” as well as Miksu (34), MacLoud (33) and T-Low with “Sehnsucht”.
