All that is missing is official confirmation, but Hollywood is already certain: pop star Rihanna (34) has become a mother. As confirmed by “People” magazine, among others, the singer gave birth to her first baby. An insider confirmed this. She is doing well and she and her partner, rapper A$AP Rocky (33), are very excited to have become parents. Rihanna is at her home in Los Angeles.
As the “TMZ” portal also reports, the child was born on May 13th. The name is not yet known. The Grammy winner announced in January 2022 that she was expecting her first child. Pictures of her from New York City were previously published, which showed her with a clear baby bump.
The two musicians made their relationship public in May 2021. Finally, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky made their red carpet debut at the Met Gala in mid-September 2021 in New York.
Long-awaited desire to have children
In March 2020, Rihanna explained in an interview with British “Vogue” that she wanted to have children in the next few years – in an emergency even without a father by her side. She also became specific: there should be three to four offspring.
