The Rock am Ring festival will be a highlight of the summer. If you can’t be there, you can also celebrate from home via live stream.

The Rock am Ring festival will once again have a live stream this year. Fans who cannot make it to the event at the Nürburgring can follow the comeback of the event live and free of charge via RTL.

From June 3rd to 5th, “an outstanding line-up” will be available in the web browser on RTLplus.de and via the app for RTL Premium customers, according to a press release. It is not known exactly which concerts will be broadcast.

Around 70 acts expected

Bands like Green Day, Muse, Placebo, the Beatsteaks, Scooter, Korn and Jan Delay will be performing on the stages

The festival had already been partly broadcast live before Corona. Telekom’s streaming service, MagentaMusik, showed a few performances, as did the TV channels 3sat and Arte.

Solution for all those who stayed at home

The live stream should suit many fans, especially after the two-year break from mass events. Due to the great demand, the festivals announced in April that they would also be selling day tickets with immediate effect. Apparently, the idea of spending three days among 70,000 to 80,000 people was a bit too wild for many music fans after the pandemic.
