“I love all my children so much,” tweeted Elon Musk (51) in June 2022 on Father’s Day in the United States. According to a recent report, the Tesla boss is said to have become the father of twins in November 2021 – making him a father of nine. What do you know about your children?
Five children with ex-wife
He has five sons with his first wife, Canadian writer Justine Musk (49), to whom he was married from 2000 to 2008. The couple’s firstborn died in infancy in 2002. Twins Griffin and Xavier were born in 2004. In 2006, the triplets Damian, Saxon and Kai followed.
Most recently, Xavier Alexander Musk has been in the public eye, identifying as a woman and changing her name to Vivian Jenna Wilson. A court has approved the requested name change, as the US magazine “People” and the celebrity portal “TMZ” reported at the end of June, citing available documents. Vivian is said to have broken with her father with this step. In her request to change her name, she stated “that I no longer want to live with my biological father or be related to him in any way.”
Offspring with Grimes
In 2010, SpaceX boss Musk married British actress Talulah Riley (36). The childless marriage initially lasted until 2012. From 2013 to 2016 the two were married again. The 51-year-old has been in an on-off relationship with the musician Grimes (34) since 2018. As well as daughter Exa Dark Sideræl, who was born in December 2021 and was carried to a surrogate mother, they also have son X Æ A-Xii (2), who caused a stir in November 2021 when a video circulated in whom he joins his father in a work meeting via video chat.
In a 2020 interview with The New York Times, Musk admitted that he doesn’t play a significant role in his children’s lives when they are young. “There’s not much I can do right now. Grimes is a much bigger part than me right now,” he said at the time. “As the kid gets older, there will be a bigger role for me. I think I’ll just do what I’ve done with my other kids.”
Supposedly twins from employee
Even before Musk and singer Grimes’ second child was born, Musk is said to have become the father of twins again in November 2021. This is said to emerge from court documents available to Business Insider. Accordingly, the mother of the children should be Shivon Zilis, one of the top executives of the 51-year-old. She works at Neuralink, a neurotechnology company researching connections between the brain and computers. Neither Musk nor Zilis have yet confirmed the birth of the twins.
