As a crew member of the ISS mission “Cosmic Kiss”, ESA astronaut Matthias Maurer spent 176 days in space. He believes that a compatriot will soon be stepping on the moon.
Astronaut Matthias Maurer expects a German astronaut to land on the moon in less than ten years. “If I have to speculate, I would say that in 2030 the first German will stand on the moon,” said the 52-year-old of the “Augsburger Allgemeine”.
