In the strip by Spanish director Jaume Collet-Serra (“Jungle Cruise”) he plays the anti-hero Black Adam, a former slave in ancient Egypt who is reborn with superpowers in modern times. He won’t let anyone bring him to his knees, asserts the muscular and invulnerable Black Adam combatively. Ex-Bond actor Pierce Brosnan stars as the good hero Doctor Fate. This is the first superhero film for both stars. Black Adam is slated to hit theaters in October.
