A “blowing championship” is to take place in a small town in Switzerland. Women are supposed to perform sexual acts on men in front of an audience. Now there is resistance.

“Every May we organize the meanwhile legendary Blow-Job Party. At this unusual event, nothing is the same as usual in the sex park. Every guest is invited to see the blowing skills of eight top blow-job specialists, who publicly compete in blowing enjoy and test it and it’s free of charge”, with these words an establishment in Switzerland advertises an event that is supposed to take place next weekend, which meanwhile meets with resistance – also outside of Switzerland. Women should publicly perform sexual acts on men.

Sentences like “each of the participants would like to win the coveted title of ‘Miss Blow-Job'” and “Between the blow-job contest rounds, the other girls with their usual seductive shows ensure that the erotic tension never wanes” is also national advertised the event as if such things were a matter of course. However, some Swiss politicians are now formulating their negative attitude.

Swiss mayor reacts relaxed

“This championship is a disgrace! A scandal. A public humiliation of women,” says Christina Bachmann-Roth, president of the party “Die Mitte Frauen Schweiz”, in an interview with “Blick”, which appears in Switzerland. It is “outrageous that such an event has been held for over ten years,” she adds. “Let’s imagine these women were our daughters. It’s horrible […] We must not allow women in Oberentfelden to be humiliated like this.”

The organizer contradicts the allegations and is unreasonable: “We do not allow criticism that we are sexist or misogynistic – not even in the choice of words on our poster. Such words (blow job and blowing championship; editor’s note) are even open commonplace in a schoolyard for ten-year-olds,” he told Blick, adding that “virtually every man has seen porn online or been to a club like this – even if only as a spectator who also has something to eat on the side and want to drink”, which means that he regards his event as legitimate.

In any case, the responsible municipal council does not seem to be fundamentally disturbed by the event. The mayor – a kind of mayor – Markus Bircher is quoted in “Blick” as saying that it is just “completely legal work that these women do”. “We really can’t influence that. From that point of view it’s certainly justifiable.”
