Felix Kroos (31) is “afraid” of his brother Toni (32) after the interview scandal on Saturday. In a not-so-serious tweet, the little brother of the five-time Champions League winner took a stand. “What do I ask him in the podcast tomorrow? I’m afraid,” wrote the ex-footballer. The Kroos brothers have been running the joint weekly podcast “Einfach mal Luppen” since 2020.
Background: After the Champions League final, which Toni Kroos and Real Madrid won 1-0, Kroos snapped at an interviewee. ZDF reporter Nils Kaben (54) asked him critical questions about the narrow win against the superior Liverpool FC immediately after the final whistle. Toni Kroos broke off the interview with the words “You had 90 minutes to think about sensible questions and then you ask me two shitty questions”.
