The band Limp Bizkit has canceled their entire European tour. Frontman Fred Durst has to undergo medical tests.

Bad news for Limp Bizkit fans: The US band has had to postpone their planned European tour. The reason for this is the medical examinations that frontman Fred Durst (51) has to undergo.

Unfortunately, due to health reasons and on the advice of my doctor to take an immediate break from touring, Limp Bizkit have had to postpone their 2022 UK and European tour. “We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.”

Doctor advises Fred Durst not to tour

Durst also released a video statement on Limp Bizkit’s official website. “In preparation for the summer 2022 tour in the UK and Europe, I decided to do some tests to make sure I’m in good physical shape and everything is fine,” explains the singer. But to his surprise, his doctor sent him a letter.

In it, the doctor told the musician “that he doesn’t want me to go on tour at this point”. Instead, he should stay nearby “to do some more testing.” The 51-year-old does not reveal any further details. In the clip he apologizes to his fans and is confident: “I’m looking forward to making amends as soon as possible.”

Wacken show cancelled

Limp Bizkit also stopped in Germany in the summer. Among other things, the band should perform at Wacken Open Air 2022 and at the Highfield Festival in August. Concerts were also planned in Stuttgart, Munich, Frankfurt and Hanover. What will happen to the tickets is not yet clear. Further details are to be announced shortly.
