With black and white photos and loving lines, Dagmar Wöhrl commemorates her son “Manu”, who died 21 years ago on July 1st.

“Die Höhle der Löwen” star Dagmar Wöhrl, 68, commemorates the 21st anniversary of the death of her son Emanuel with sweet black and white photos. He died in a domestic accident on July 1, 2001, when he was just 12 years old.

“Dear Manu, do you remember how much fun we had on our last vacation? How natural I took the time together with you,” she addresses her child directly in her Instagram post. “If I had known that we would be separated so soon, I would have told you sooo much more and I would have memorized your last kiss,” she continues.

Dagmar Wöhrl: “You’re missing.”

She continued, “I know you wouldn’t want me to think of you with sadness, but it’s so damn hard! Everything seemed so much lighter and happier in your presence. You made us whole as a family. We miss you. I hug you.” She ends her message with “Love mom.”

She also lets her feelings run free in the hashtags: “I miss you”, “My heart” and “Love never ends,” she writes.

Emanuel comes from Dagmar Wöhrl’s marriage (since 1984) to the entrepreneur Hans Rudolf Wöhrl. The couple had two sons. Marcus was born in 1985, Emanuel in 1988.
