The Hollywood studio Paramount Pictures released the two-minute video, peppered with daring stunts. Within a few hours, the trailer was clicked millions of times. The seventh installment in Christopher McQuarrie’s “Mission: Impossible” series, starring Tom Cruise as Agent Ethan Hunt, is slated to hit theaters in July 2023.
At the end of April, Cruise presented scenes from the film at the CinemaCon film trade fair in Las Vegas via video message from shooting in South Africa. In the trailer, the actor, known for his own stunts, can now be seen in gripping action scenes. He races towards an abyss on a motorcycle, he rides through deserts, runs for his life and embarks on breakneck car chases through Italy. Co-stars like Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby and Henry Czerny also feature.
Cruise is currently making his return in the action film Top Gun: Maverick as former fighter pilot Pete “Maverick” Mitchell. The Hollywood star presented the sequel to the blockbuster “Top Gun” (1986) at the Cannes Film Festival last week.
