A year ago you moderated your last “Today” show. Now more than ever, the focus is on news. Wouldn’t it appeal to you to work in the studio again? Despite all the professional distance: this war in the neighborhood gets under your skin, especially for me as a Slavist who used to be in the Soviet Union often. That’s why I’m happy on the one hand to be out of the mill. On the other hand, I remain a journalist, I read, see and hear almost everything on this subject.
