At an AIDS gala organized by the amfAR foundation near Cannes, there were many prominent visitors, including actors Robert De Niro and Tom Hanks. Well-known names from music and sport were also invited.

An evening with singer Andrea Bocelli or a trip to the Galapagos Islands on a luxury yacht: the most adventurous things were auctioned again this year at the amfAR AIDS charity gala.

Hundreds of celebrities were invited to the event on Thursday evening in the luxury hotel Cap-Eden-Roc. Music stars Christina Aguilera, Ricky Martin and Charlie XCX posed before their scheduled red carpet performances.

In addition to screen stars such as Robert De Niro, Tom Hanks and Michelle Williams, models such as Cara Delevingne, Milla Jovovich and Barbara Meier were on the invitation list. Designer Tommy Hilfiger and his wife Dee Ocleppo were in attendance, as were professional soccer player Robert Lewandowski and his spouse Anna Lewandowska.
