Gwen Stefani, 52, and Blake Shelton, 46, celebrated their first wedding anniversary on Sunday with a romantic photo and video throwback to Instagram. The singer addressed emotional words to her husband.
Sweet declaration of love on Instagram
“A year behind us, forever ahead of us,” the 52-year-old wrote on a video on Instagram showing various kissing scenes at the couple’s wedding. She shared the video with the song “Can’t Help Falling In Love” by Elvis Presley (1935-1977).
Stefani and Shelton married on a ranch
The video also shows the chapel on Shelton’s ranch in Tishomingo, where the two musicians said yes exactly a year ago. This is followed by several tender moments, including at their wedding dance.
Blake Shelton also posted a photo of the wedding party an hour later, showing him and Gwen Stefani dancing. “Happy anniversary to the woman who makes my world work,” he captioned his post. “Because of you, this year has been the best of my life. I love you!!!! Thanks for saying yes!”

The two stars celebrated their wedding on July 3, 2021 with about 40 of their closest friends and family members, including “The Voice” co-star and presenter Carson Daly, 49.
On this special day, Gwen Stefani wore not just one, but two custom-made wedding dresses by designer Vera Wang (73). Her veil was hand-embroidered with the names of her three sons from her first marriage to Gavin Rossdale, 56, Kingston, 16, Zuma, 13, and Apollo, 8, as well as her and Shelton’s names.
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton met as coaches on The Voice in 2015. The country music star then proposed to the singer in October 2020. Marrying Gwen Stefani is his third marriage.
