Chryssanthi Kavazi and Tom Beck kept their relationship out of the public eye for two years. “I wanted to be independent,” explains Kavazi.
In the current issue of “Gala” magazine (broadcast on Saturday, July 9 at 5:45 p.m. on RTL), “GZSZ” star Chryssanthi Kavazi (33) tells her relationship with her now husband, actor Tom Beck (44), kept secret from the public for two years.
She didn’t want to be “the girlfriend of”.
“I just wanted to be independent,” explains the actress, who has played the role of Laura Weber in RTL-Daily since 2017. Otherwise you are just “the girlfriend of and then I think it’s relatively difficult for a woman to come out of the shadows,” explains the 33-year-old in an interview with moderator Annika Lau (43).
After her acting training, she wanted to make a name for herself next to Beck, who became known for the action series “Alarm for Cobra 11”, among other things, and wanted to do without a celebrity bonus. To date, the situation is still difficult. “There are days when it doesn’t bother me at all, but then there are events or moments when you think: you’re independent, I’ll do the job too!” says Kavazi. She goes to the studio from Monday to Friday and works hard there.
Chryssanthi Kavazi and Tom Beck have been dating since 2015 and married since 2018. In November 2019, they became parents to a son.
