From the green Hulk sex toy costume to a Madonna-inspired cone bra that threw confetti at the crowd, Aguilera wanted to represent every color of the rainbow Pride flag. “It’s really important that all of these outfits represent a mood, and each song calls for a different theme — coming out, feeling free, embracing your sexuality and your power,” she told W Magazine, which the artist gave an interview after her performance.
“Pride is the ultimate expression of freedom and self-expression: loud, unflinching and fearless in living your best life. These are all things that really mean the world to me and have always been part of my message and my music” , according to Aguilera. With the help of her stylists, Anna Trevelyan and Chris Horan, who selected looks that were largely created by LGBTQ designers, Xtina celebrated the queer community in more ways than one. She dedicated powerful lines to her viewers: “Me and the Pride community, my fans, my fighters, we walk hand in hand. I am so honored and grateful to have had the support of the LGBTQ community and that we have walked my journey together for more than 20 years. That’s what I live for!”

Commenting on the confetti cannon in the bra, Aguilera said: “We worked with Luis De Javier, a legendary punk designer in London, to create a new version of extremely bionic breasts. He 3D printed the corset with cone-shaped bra.” For the performance of the well-known song “Lady Marmelade”, the singers Mya and Aguliera have been reunited for a long time. Xtina was touched by the joint performance: “Reuniting with Mya for this Pride performance is very special for me. It was very nostalgic.”
