The family is said to have left the UK on Sunday an hour before the start of Queen Elizabeth II’s (96) platinum jubilee pageant. Participation in the throne jubilee only in the background

After the couple stepped down as senior royals in 2020, the pair didn’t play a major official role in the four-day Jubilee celebrations. They only publicly attended the thanksgiving service for the Queen in St. Paul’s Cathedral last Friday – without their children.

On Thursday they were spotted at “Trooping the Color”, the traditional birthday parade for the Queen – but only in the background. After that, they are said to have met privately with the Queen. It is said that Elizabeth II met her great-granddaughter Lilibet for the first time. On Saturday, Harry and Meghan are said to have celebrated a private garden party for Lilibet’s first birthday at Frogmore Cottage.
