The former general administrator of the RTBF, Robert Stéphane, died Saturday at the age of 85 years, announces the public channel on its website Sunday.
Robert Stéphane was the first face of television news in 1956. It has also been the instigator of the “stalls” early birds, the ancestors of Vivacity.
He was designated general administrator of the RTBF in the mid 80’s. Facing circumstances difficult budget, it is he who has brought the publicity on the antennae of the public service.
