N’Golo Kante is considered one of the best sixes in the world, but he’s also injury-prone. So is there a chance for Manchester United?

N’Golo Kante is both a mainstay and a crowd favorite at Chelsea. Could this change now?

As the English Guardian reports, Premier League competitor Manchester United is exploring the possibility of a transfer. The Red Devils therefore want to strengthen their midfield and apparently inquire with the Blues about the conditions under which Kante’s change could be made.

Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchel recently described the Frenchman as an immensely important “key player”, but at the same time addressed the player’s problem: “Key players also have to be on the pitch. He only plays 40 percent of the games.”

Kante: From Chelsea to Manchester United?

The 31-year-old’s susceptibility to injury could therefore become an important argument in transfer poker. Chelsea should also want to rely more on Conor Gallagher in the future, who was able to convince during his loan to Crystal Palace. However, according to the Guardian, they initially prefer Jorginho’s departure, with Kante being discussed in the near future.

Kante is considered one of the best defensive midfielders in the world. He won both the English championship and the Champions League with Chelsea FC, and was world champion with his home country France in 2018.
